You should schedule your consultation (and therefore your patch test) at least 48 hours before your desired first treatment session. This allows enough time for the technician to review your reaction to the patch test and ensure your skin is ready for the full treatment.
For the patch test, ensure the area is completely shaved using only a razor or depilatory cream. You must not use any hair removal methods that pull hairs from the root, such as waxing or tweezing.
Additionally, you should not wear fake tan before having laser hair removal. Make sure all residue has been removed from the skin before the session.
Sun exposure can also interfere with the patch test, so avoid sunbathing for at least 4 weeks beforehand. Additionally, suspend use of acids for 2 days before the consultation.
Before getting eyelash extensions, consider your natural lash health, desired style, and maintenance requirements. Choose a certified technician, discuss possible allergies, and understand aftercare, like avoiding oil-based products and regular refills for lasting results
Lash lifts generally take 45 minutes to an hour from start to finish and are painless. One look doesn't fit all, though, so prior to application your technician should customize your lash look based on your natural lash length, how you like to style them and your curl preference.
You will require a patch test if: This is the first time having this treatment in our salon, even if you have previously had this done elsewhere. You haven't had the treatment or have not been patch tested by us for 1 year or over. You have had a change in your medical history. This needs to be carried out no less than 48 hours before your treatment.
All aesthetics and injectables are only ever carried out by our Nurse Prescriber.
