As a credit union our purpose is to promote thrift among our members. We achieve this by accumulating member’s shares which are distributed as a source of credit at a fair and reasonable interest rate which in turn provides a dividend to all members
About Us
We train and educate our members in financial management by providing a death benefit ensuring that all loans (subject to the death benefit conditions) are cleared in the event of death and members gain extra savings to help with funeral costs.
We encourage members to take on credit they can afford and when they don’t see where that boundary is, educate them by procedures specifically designed not to aggravate their problem but to return them to credit within their means.
We accept payments and payout by cash, cheque, standing order, electronic transfer (direct to/from your bank via internet banking).
We are a “not for profit” financial co-operative owned and controlled by the members with a strong volunteer involvement. Any member can apply to volunteer by filling in an application form and signing a Declaration of Secrecy to ensure member confidentiality.
